Re: Second hand camera store in Central London?

Aperture tend to specialise in exotic stuff - Leica etc but also carry quite a bit of Canikon etc. They have two branches. One in Rathbone Place (near the new Park Cameras branch) and one in Museum St. The latter (near the British Museum) also has The Camera Cafe which is well worth a visit for its rather good noodles and occasionally some interesting and famous clients.

Bargains can occasionally be found on eBay. You won't find many (if any) in London shops. That said Grays sometimes have so much Nikon stock that you can find the occasional "user" example at competitive prices. However the shop has a connection with a quasi-religious organisation originating in the mind of a deceased sci-fi writer, which could deter some people. That said I've found the place amenable to deal with.
