My camera is the Samsung nx300 and doesn't have optical viewer finder..all has to be set on the screen.., I couldn't find the framing mode that you mentioned.

Any advise??

You can not be in Auto mode to see Framing Mode on the menu
as I described above.

Try P,A.S,M.

Your other issues can wait until you turn on Framing Mode.

emirphoto, Raw Jaw was right. You'll need to set your NX300 in P, A,S, or M modes by then only you can see the "Framing mode". Click "Menu" button > Camera icon > Framing mode > On. In the user manual it explained,

Framing mode

When you adjust the aperture value or shutter speed, the exposure changes according to the settings, so the display may darken. With this function on, the brightness of the display is constant regardless of the settings, so you can better frame your shot.
