Re: Just about to pull the trigger - GX7, 20mm, 45mm
I've been a long-standing and very happy LX3 user. The ability to carry such a good camera in my pocket is just great, but always been slightly constrained by DOF, focal length and no viewfinder for the wife.
So after whittling away at the list of other things to spend my money on, have reached the camera replacement.
Generaly we photograph people, street and landscape, generaly when travelling, hiking, sailing and skiing. I really value small size, my wife wants to get back to a viewfinder
So the plan is to get a GX7 plus 20mm and Oly 45mm f/1.8
Follow that up with the Gm1 plus 12-32 when the bank balance has recovered, use the Lx3 as the small one until this time.
The GM1 will really be attractive when/if they do a kit of 12-32 + 35-100. Anyone know any dates for the 35-100?
Any way, that's the plan. Anyone with this setup with anything useful to add? Amy I going to cover my needs? I think so!
I don't have the GX7 or the unreleased 35-100, but everything else on the list and I say go for it. You'll love the GM1 + 45 combo.
I guess you went with the GM1, 12-32, 20 and 45 then. Would have been my choice but my wife prefers viewfinder and bigger camera.
You don't have any issues with the camera being so small to operate?
No, none. I pinch it between thumbs and index fingers or use it one-handed.

The Fujifilm X-T5 is the company's latest classically-styled APS-C mirrorless camera. It gains the 40MP sensor and AF system from the X-H2 but in a body with a more stills-focused slant. We've been putting it through its paces.
We're Noct messing around with this review.
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom impress in a lot of ways, but their noise reduction lags the competition and their lens corrections lack a real-world basis. DxO PureRAW 3 aims to come to their rescue without totally reinventing your workflow!
The Sony ZV-E1 is the company's latest vlogging-focused camera: a full-frame mirrorless camera based the FX3/a7S III sensor, aimed at YouTubers and 'creators' looking to go pro.
