Some Advice Needed.
Hi all, been lurking for a while and decided to ask for some expert advice. I am a landscape photographer currently running an APS-C Pentax K-5 body and have been for a few years. Looking to upgrade to the FF market and have narrowed it down to the Sony A7R, Canon 6D and the Nikon D600 along with the Nikon D800. My primary focus is landscapes.
Here are some examples of my work. Jason Wilde Photography
I say pick the A7r if you can get a lens with a wide enough angle for you.
I bought a mirrorless specifically for hiking because if it's smaller size and lighter weight… although I went down from a D700 to a E-X1! The weight and size savings let me cary a compact tripod and use a smaller backpack.
