My personal idea is that nx300 is an excellent camera if you're ready to invest in nx lenses, while if you prefer using legacy lenses, nex6/7 are probably better (higher dxo, shorter flange allowing M adapter, larger diameter allowing speedboosters, gorgeous rangefinder form factor with nice evf).
Truth be told, NEX cameras have their own strong points. But what do you mean that they allow M adapter that NX systems does not? I do see M42 to NX and M39 to NX adapters available.
You're thinking of these mounts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M39_lens_mount
and: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M42_lens_mount
If you look at the Samsung NX mount: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_NX-mount
you'll see that the flange distance of the NX mount is 25.5mm, while the flange distance for M39 and M42 are 28.8 and 45.5 respectively. tecnoworld was not referring to those though, but rather to the Leica M mount: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leica_M-mount which has a flange distance of 27.8. Mmk, so it may be possible to adapt M to NX, but you need an adapter that is mighty thin, 2.3mm, so I guess no one thinks they can make one that size that is still strong enough without using either costly materials or manufacturing that would make it no longer worthwhile or them. Even the M39 to NX adapter is very skinny: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=995050&Q=&is=REG&A=details There may be some other reasons I'm overlooking?
You are correct, those are the ones I was refearing to.
If there are adapters for M42 to K (I use one without infinity focus loss) then the rest are possible too, I guess.
Am I wrong?
