Fuji repair experience?

Hi Y'all,

Am almost ready to buy an XE2(or X-T1) and Fuji glass...
I generally buy with a long-term view, with repairability, and availability of parts, schematics, repair manuals, etc. important to me.

I'm lucky to have a good, local camera repair shop.
Looking at their web site recently I read some interesting information about what camera brands to buy, and
what not to buy, from a repair and parts availability perspective:
I was surprised to see Fuji in the Cannot Recommend column.(At least it has Nikon and Olympus for company!)

Dropping off a camera today, I asked if these recommendations are current, in particular for Fuji, and here's the gist of what I was told:
'Fuji has made some great cameras. But they are stocking far fewer parts than in the past, and
when we can get parts, it is often a month to six weeks for delivery.
They appear to have gone to a business model of very few repairs, with customers sending in cameras and getting complete replacements.'

For a soemwhat expensive camera with only a one year warranty, this gives me pause...

For those of you have needed Fuji repairs, what is your experience?

Thanks and good health, Weogo
