User modes for easy camera hand off?
I want to give my camera to my sister to use this weekend. Thinking of setting up a user mode to make this easier since I have my camera setup to use the back focus button, release priority, raw files, etc.
I want to make it a mock point and shoot for her but don't want to re-do my settings. The thing is, I sometimes switch from M to A or S mode so even though saving my settings right now as User Mode 1 is easy enough, as would be creating a User mode 2, I don't want to have to have the camera in User Mode 1 when I get it back from her. I prefer to just have it on M.
Am I over-thinking this? This situation doesn't come up too often so maybe it doesn't merit a user mode and instead I just undo all my settings for her, and go to my now saved user mode 1 when I get the camera back. If I switch the dial to M though will be have all of the settings I made for her?
