SLR mirror movement Lag

Yep. Now add the extra 125ms of display lag to that. This makes the interpolation/estimation that much harder as it's totally unnatural.

Ok, I'm agree with you on others points but SLT EVFs are better then EVF designed for mirrorless. I know EVF lag is there but 125ms lag isn't possible on a camera shooting at 12fps i.e. the A77 takes only 1000/12 = 083ms when shooting at 12fps divided by 1000ms = 1 sec.

083ms is the total time in which A77 EVF provides you the preview, sensor engaged or EVF blackout and writing to the buffer. In SLR cameras there is a mirror movement lag and that is the only cause of slower burst rate speed in SLR cameras.

A57/A65/A77 can shoot more than 8fps, A58 can also shoot at 6fps normally & 8fps but in tele mode. Because of SLR mirror movement lag No entry level SLR can shoot more then 4 to 5 fps.
