Nikon D600 looking for landscape lense

I own a Nikon D600 with the Nikkor AF-S 85mm 1.8G for a year now and I'm very happy with this kit. Since I also want to do landscape / architecture and interrior photographs I'm looking for a suitable lense.
I've read about the Nikkor AF-S 16-35mm f/4 G ED VR and the Nikkor AF 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D ED so far and I'm tending to the 18-35.
But recently I got also interested in the Nikkor AF-S 28mm f/1.8 G prime and I just can't decide whether the 18-35mm zoom lense or the 28mm prime would suite me.
I don't know if the 28mm prime is wide angle enough or if I sometimes would miss more mm at the wide range. Should I stay to primes? For instance buying the Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G later and having a good range of primes.

I would really appreciate some advice
