Why not reference sales/shipment data instead of an unsubstantiated opinion?

1) According to Cipa data, mirrorless shipments & production are down this year from 2012. Jan - Nov 2013 mirrorless shipments were down 17.8% from 2012.

2) Mirrorless had 40% of the ILC market in Japan this year, which was down from 50% market share in 2012.

Mirrorless has much to offer and is here to stay.  However, after a period of rapid growth, it has failed to gain market share against DSLRs over the past 18-24 months.  Personally, I think we'll see a company exit the mirrorless market before we see Canon, Nikon, or Ricoh exit the DSLR market.
