Re: Nikon 16mm or 8mm Samyang on Full Frame

I do not have experience of the diagonal 180deg Nikon fisheye lens on FX but I do possess the 8mm lens which I use on FX.

It is specialised and I bought it to photograph a large domed ceiling in an 18th century building.  It certainly did that very well.  You have to 'cut out' the circle you require from the image in post processing.

If you are interested in this approach, make sure that you get the 8mm lens with the removable hood and be aware how difficult it is to frame your target precisely.
