Was thinking the same thing. Mirrors are just fine with me. Talk about proven technology!

Not being savvy to the the details of how AF works, I'm just happy that my DSLR cost a modest amount, focuses quickly and accurately,  and gives me a big, bright,  optical viewfinder.  That's the crucial feature for me, and as far as I know there is no mirrorless camera that offers me the option of looking directly at the world through the lens.

When one exists, then we'll talk.  Note that I am not anti EVF, and I am open to the idea of having an EVF equipped small camera right now. Heck, I'm open to the idea of a rear screen only small camera.  But I will want a DSLR  too, until the crucial issue is solved.  Or until the mirror goes away and I have no other option.
