Good to see the S-series DSLRs still doing well in our fellow posters' hands; here are some images from my work in 2013.

BTS of a bodyart photoshoot, a collaboration (of sorts!) I did with a make-up artist;
S5 + 58mm ƒ1.4 NOCT-Nikkor at ƒ2:

(BTS = "behind the scenes", or in this case, "before the shoot")

another BTS from the same session, Zeiss ZF.2 21mm ƒ2.8 at ƒ4.5:

The preparation for such a bodyart session takes hours & hours on end; by which time the model is already fatigued. This together with make-up being smudged by the person's movements, means I had to work very quickly in the resulting studio shoot.
The resulting theme was "Summer", Zeiss ZF 50mm ƒ2 Makro-planar at ƒ8:

another from the same shoot, this time with the Nikkor AFD 85mm ƒ1.4 at ƒ8:

The amazing great SOOC colours, tones/shades & skintones ability of the S5 is a real boon, especially for getting the bodyart colours right without disrupting skintones.

On a different note, another SOOC image this time of a plate for an advertising client, taken with the ZF50MP (Zeiss 50mm ƒ2 Makro-Planar) at ƒ5.6:

SOOC (straight-out-of-camera) untouched image

For work such as the plate above the client is the ad agency, not the Chef/establishment; so treat requests from the latter for free photos ("can you email/copy them to me?") wisely……that's a whole other can of worms & topic for discussion.
Regards to all,
JF
