6d: Why are Wifi and filming not compatible ?
The manual states it clearly: filming is disabled when wifi is enabled. Even with 3rd party remote software as DSLR controller it is disabled (which is also clearly stated on dslrcontroller.com.
But why ? Does the wifi signal intervene with filming or something ??
The only reason can be that the movies cannot be 'streamed' from the camera to the computer / phoblet (control device), but then the software can also disable just downloading the video automatically to the control device and store only on the camera. Downloading can be done later.
