Shutter speed and bracketing will slow the camera down. RAW and IS will not slow the camera down until you reach the capacity of the buffer and then the write speed of the card you are using will dictate the firing speed. Also the focus setting "release" being on or off will effect the shooting speed. You can reset the camera to default settings in the menu and start again.
