LX7 Video Tip - As few as 8fps recording

Apologies if this has been posted before but a cursory review of this forum turned up nothing ...

In Creative Video Mode, select Manual Exposure. Then, select Manual Focus on the barrel slider switch. You can select a shutter speed as low as 8 fps, up to 20,000. As best I can tell, this is the only combination of settings that permit frame rates below 30.

While there is no 24 fps increment, I can, at 25 fps, get quite close to that "film quality" motion blur I'm used to seeing in feature films.

In other words, you're not bound by the native 30 fps "floor" in M/S/A/P/Auto modes.

Thought some here would find this useful, especially when you don't need a narrow DoF (or, if you're really good employing the camera's slow manual focus).

PS - Also worth noting that, in this mode, aperture, shutter speed and focus are adjustable real-time, while filming.
