Flagship vs entry level?

Why would you expect the top of the line E-M1 to compete on price  w an entry level Nikon?  OK, the Nikon does have a higher res sensor (24MP vs. 16 on the OM-D) but can you compare the build, the controls, level of customization available?  Does it offer a tilt screen? IBIS? Remote control from a smart phone? Titanium chassis? Weather sealing?

Now if these features hold little importance to you, of course they won't be worth the extra money, but some people value them.  So buy the camera that fills your needs and don't worry so much about the difference in cost of dissimilar models... Makes as much sense as comparing the price of the E-M1 to that of the D4

Why not compare the D3300 to the E-M10 when it comes out, or maybe the E-PL5?
