Which noise reduction software do you use and why?

I've heard other people mention DxO but from what I have seen so far it requires a ridiculous amount of time to process an image and I haven't seen any comparisons showing it to be better than Noiseware 5, or any other noise reduction app. I've been meaning to test it for a while so maybe this week I will finally test it out.

If your photo was taken with a camera/lens combination that is contained in DxO's massive database the noise reduction is automatic (with an option to change or delete) and instantaneous.

If they have a trial version I will download and compare to Noiseware.

Does it have any adjustments at all when it does that?

This would apply to most files being edited. The prime noise reduction feature does take some additional time but for the most part is not necessary for most normal shots.

I could never use such a feature as I have read it can take minutes to achieve the results.

It's the kind of software you use when someone is paying you by the hour:-)

My time is worth even more to me when it has nothing to do with work.
