1st impressions

Much smaller than I had expected. Smaller than my V1, takes the same lenses. The control layout is quite different, I am happy that they moved the PASM dial to the top as I used to constantly hit the control when it was on the back of the camera. Also nice that is is a more standard PASM control now.

The high speed motor drive settings are not what I was expecting so this is taking some tinkering. Granted I have only owned the camera for a few hours. Exposure is good, colour balance also good on the indoor poor light test shots I have done.

Camera has a silent mode which is handy for those shooting on movie sets as it is completely silent.

Hope Nikon comes up with some longer glass though. Otherwise so far not bad. Certainly worth the heavily reduced price I paid for mine.
