A77 too heavy for lengthy video.

I was at a New Year's Eve party and decided to use the A77 mounted with the Sigmas 17-70 to do a video to capture the countdown. The video was a little over 10 minutes and when I was done, both my arms and neck were sore.
Because I moved around, I used the OPV and did not use the tripod.

I did not previously felt that the A77 with the lens heavy. My previous standard gear of A700 and Sony 16-105 was heavier, but did not have the weight problem.

The difference here is that video making required my arms and head locked in position, whereas pictures taking allowed the arms and neck more flexible and frequent movements.

Is it me getting old or you A77 users have the same problem.

Maybe my body is telling me to get ride of my setup and get another camera that is lighter.
