Old school: Could the GX7 be it for me?

2 years ago in this thread D40 or back to film i was trying to find a way to be able to shoot like i was doing back then with my Pentax Me Super (Aperture priority, Zone focussing). It was possible with my D40 but far from perfectly. I am out of a good camera since about 9 months being on a long trip but it will end soon and i am looking again to find my fix.

The Panasonic GX7 seem very good (AF, EVF and all). I could get one with the kit zoom for an all around setup.

BUT which lenses from 35-50mm (FF equivalent) could i get where i would be able to Zone focus? Do one of the SLR magic lense fit the bill?  Any Olympus or Panasonic lense have the Aperture-Zone focussing scale?

Why do i care aboout zone focussing if AF is now great on M43 camera?  I like it!
