Which adapter for the Sony A7? The LA EA4 or the Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark III)?
1

I have a Sony A7 and I'm trying to decide which adapter to keep. I only have 1 lens per adapter (a Minolta AF 50mm F1.4 & a Canon 50mm f1.8). Other than those two I don't have any brand favoritism. I'm just about to start building my autofocus lens collection.

What do you think, should I stick with the LA EA4 or go with the Metabones Smart Adapter?

Here are a couple reasons in favor of each.

Sony LA EA4
Pros
Lots of Minolta glass
Fast autofocus w/A Mount lenses
More A Mount lense coming in the future
Works Seamlessly w/Sony A7

Cons
No Image Stabilization (IS) on Minolta lens
Fast Minolta prime lens are close in price to native FE fast prime lens

Metabones Smart Adapter III
Pros
Image Stabilization (IS)
Deep lens selection

Cons
Autofocus isn't supported on alot of third party lenses
Slow autofocus

I'd like to start building my lens collection up with all autofocus lens. Which adapter would you keep and why?

Thanks for any replies.
