LightRoom 4 DNG converter and RX10 ...

I just got the RX10 and ran some RAWs through Adobe DNG converter. Based on comparing the LR4 developed version with the OOC JPG, it appears that the lens correction data must be embedded in the RAW and utilized by LR4. I shot photos of my garage door and could see not any lens distortion. The lens correction button in LR4 does not do anything when profile is clicked or not clicked.
Are my assumptions correct so I can continue to use LR4 and not worry about lens corrections?

Anyone,
Bert
