I don't see a problem with focus. Try setting the noise filter to Low or Off so the camera does not try to smooth, and eliminate detail from, pine needles or sparkling ornaments. There shouldn't be much noise at ISO 200.

The image may be overexposed, but it looks about as I'd expect from a flash. Did the camera choose the exposure settings, or was it manual? I would let the camera set exposure, or at least the shutter speed if you want to control ISO and aperture.

Is the flash necessary? One of the nice things about the E-PM2 is that it doesn't need a flash for normal interior lighting. The flash creates glare on the tree's needles and ornaments, and washes out the lights on the tree.

Finally, try shooting RAW and tweaking in Olympus Viewer for the effect you want. You can change white balance, exposure, noise filter, color profile, and other settings. It's a great way to experiment so you know what settings you prefer to use on the camera.
