You can buy the shutter itself on eBay for $100.

That's assuming it needs a shutter, which is the most likely thing.

There's a Flickr page which shows a "step by step" photo essay on how to replace the shutter. I'm great at taking things apart, not so great at putting them back together correctly.

The last time Canon did service the 1D Mark II, they charged $460 to replace the shutter. Which is exactly what the camera is worth right now.

So for me, it's not really worth it. I have other cameras. Just hate to see this old one go.

I'll probably sell the charger for $200, batteries for $100, and dead body for $100 on eBay and just say goodbye
