So that's what the tilting EVF on the GX7 is for!

Kept stopping on the way to work yesterday to shoot icicles & ice covered snowscapes after our big ice storm in Southern Ontario. With blinding sunlight reflecting off so many bright surfaces, in so many directions, I think finally understood how incredibly useful an EVF can be but ... & to my great surprise ... it's even better when you can bend & tilt it for off axis & oddly angled shots. Truly a great feature that wasn't previously a line item on my list of desirable, perhaps even essential, requirements for a camera. It is now!

Sometimes you just don't know what you don't know!
