Installing an SSD on an old PC is it Worth It ????

I am wondering if I would see any real benefits in replacing my hard drive with An SSD.

Board: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD 770-C45 (MS-7599) 1.0Bus Clock: 200 megahertz..BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. V1.4 09/18/2009

3.40 gigahertz AMD Phenom II X4 965---- 8 gb ram.

My mother board is Sata 2 and I am not sure if it is able to use AHCI. So from

The start I know I would not be getting the best performance. My primary use of

This PC is to run DXO Pro 9 and CS6.

I would appreciate any suggestions .

Seasons Greetings to All
