who can answer this AF based question?
Camera labs has a review up for a ton of cameras. A newer onefor the GX7 offered something ive never heard before, although i suspected it existed. Here is a quote from their review:
"The AF remains contrast-based, but is faster than the GX1 with a 240fps drive system and the GX7 will also focus in very low light down to -4EV."
My question, what exactly is the drive system and how does 240fps compare to any DSLR? I assume this is a refresh rate for the responsiveness of AF but am i right? And is this poor or good? Why have we not heard about this kind of stat more often, and how much of a difference does it make in AF speed/accuracy?
