All NIK plug-ins have what they call Control points which you place where you want and as many as you choose to have. Each control point allows control of size (the area that each control point covers),contrast, saturation if you are in color, brightness, structure, etc. The best buy is the NIK Collection which includes several plug-ins for color, noise reduction, sharpening and HDR, in addition to monochrome with Silver Efex Pro 2. When Google took over the company, they bundled them into the Collection which is really the best buy on the market when you consider the number of tools involved.

With the exception of the absence the smell and stained fingers and clothing, you'll feel like you never left your darkroom. It's good stuff.
