Canon FDn 35mm f/2.8, must have A7/A7r?

Is the Canon FDn 35mm f/2.8 a must have value lens for the A7/A7r? YES.

It does well enough, here I did a quick resolution test on my blog:

I also recently reviewed the Olympus 28mm f/3.5 G.Zuiko and SMC Pentax-M 28mm f/3.5, which I thought were pretty good until I reviewed the Canon. Granted, the Canon is a lot longer focal length, but it still made me reconsider what a good rating was

This is not a great shot, but just a quick example of what the lens can do I rented a ZEISS 35mm f/2.8 to compare over Christmas, but I think you might need an A7r to see a difference, as this Canon is plenty sharp on the A7 (can't possibly resolve much more).

With HVL F60M flash, bounced.  I think wide open (f/2.8, but could be stopped down), ISO 1600, 1/200
