A Legendary Line of Cameras
4

I feel like the Rebel EOS Ti line will hold the same nostalgia for filmmakers years from now that the Bolex 16mm camera does now. So many young filmmakers are cutting their teeth on these cameras, and even though they're being way out-paced by full frame, 2k and 4k technology hitting higher end models, they keep producing consistently awesome results. I personally own a Rebel T2i and love it to death. I've considered upgrading, but so far I haven't even pushed this camera as far as I know it can go.

A friend of mine has been working on a sci-fi series that looks simply incredible and I recently asked what camera he was using, assuming it was a RED Epic or some other high-end model, and he surprised me by saying he was using "just a couple of Rebel T3i's." Fantastic.

Thanks, Canon, for making quality filmmaking so accessible to so many aspiring filmmakers. I remember the days of 35mm adapters and vibrating ground glass. I'm glad those days are over : )
