One more question. I read somewhere in this thread that it is best to replace all the cartridges when one is empty. Is this good advice or would I be wasting ink and money.

Thanks

I replace the empty one and any others that are 20% or less.  I can't see replacing carts that are 80% just because some are running out.  I print a lot of B&W, so it's not unusual for the three blacks to go much more quickly than the others.

20% might not be the optimum point, but there's got to be some middle ground between replacing them all and only the empty ones.  Maybe it should be 40% and not 20%, but I'm definitely not going to replace expensive carts that are mostly full.

Having said that, if I was using inexpensive bulk ink then my reply would probably be different.  But I'm using OEM cartridges.
