Replacement of 5D MArk III is here and only for $1,000
According to this Pentax fan, "the K-3 is ON PAR with the Canon 5d Mark III. Consider that camera is Canon's second-most-expensive model, at $3,500, and is it's most popular model for pros, with only its $6,000 EOS 1Dx more expensive, and used by only the TOP pros in the industry. I can assume only that the person who made this claim has shot with the 5D Mark III. I have NO experience with that FULL-FRAME camera, but except for the fact that it has higher ISO ratings, it has very similar specs to the K-3, including the expected shutter life (the K-3 is one of only 2 or 3 DSLRs on the market with an advertised shutter life of 200,000 actuations!)".
If you can endure his long rant, it is kind of,,, how can I put it, interesting
He has never used a Canon 5D and he still believes a Pentax K3 is as good as a Canon 5D MArk III. Only based on what "he heard from a person"
