NX300 x1.2 iZoom bug fixed with FW v1.33
I have a newly purchased NX300 (18-55mm III) and I notice a very strange bug with it.
If the photo resolution is set 7.8MP (16:9) and the digital iZoom is used at x1.2 the recorded image gets seriously distorted.
It gets all sort of digital "cuts" and green pixels at the right side of the picture, see below (and please disregard the mess on the table... ).
I have managed to reproduce this bug at a 100% rate, under the above configuration pair.
It also reproduced on a different (yet slower) SD card than my Class 10 16G SanDisk, and on both firmware versions 1.30 (the original) and 1.32.
With despair I have went back to the store and replaced the entire kit, only to find it happens on the second camera as well!
The same night, after emailing Samsung support about it, I have found v1.33 is out.
Downloaded it, updated it, and lo and behold... THE BUG IS GONE!
Did anyone experience the same phenomena and solution?
