Well, that rules out the simple stuff, then.

I'm not sure what you are illustrating with the two photos. I mean, the first is obviously way overexposed, and the 5-second exposure is probably the culprit. But since the EXIF shows that it was manual exposure, that would tend to suggest that it was operator error. I also see from the EXIF that the flash was fired in that picture. Perhaps a brief explanation of the lighting conditions of the photo, and how you'd set things up, might be in order.

According to its EXIF, the second photo was taken with auto-exposure, shutter at 1/60 and flash fired. It looks properly exposed to me (for E-TTL flash). Is it the green-ness of this photo that you take issue with? Again, a brief explanation might be in order.

And is this problem only occurring with flash? If so, what flash unit are you using — the built-in pop-up flash?

If there is indeed something wrong with the camera, in the US Canon uses a flat-rate repair price that's somewhere between $250 and $300 US. I'd suggest you call up Canon and ask what the repair price would be, so you can decide if it's worth fixing.
