Just finished uploading the images to my portfolio from my first visit to Tokyo. Such an amazing city!

This time i only brought the X-E2 and the following lenses 14mm, 23mm, 35 and 55-200mm. Compared to my X-Pro1 i would say that the much improved EVF and the faster AF were the main things i noticed in real life shooting.

I did shoot at high ISO:s a lot (3200-6400) I really like organic feel of the noise the x-trans sensor produces, very filmlike.

All the images are processed in Lightroom 5.3 with VSCO presets.

You'll find them here: http://www.ishoot.se/tokyo

Hope you like them.

Beautiful images, congratulations! Did you use presets from VSCO 4? If you only bought one VSCO pak to start, which would you choose? Thanks!

Sal

I did indeed use the VSCO 4 pack on these images. I used different variants of the Kodak E100G preset.

If would buy just one filmpack i would probably go with the VSCO 04 But i also like the VSCO 02 very much, love the muted colors of the Portra series and the amazing Neopan 1600.

The VSCO 04 takes a bit more time to get used to but it truly can help you to produce very interesting images.

Just like with every preset pack thats out there VSCO ain't a one click solution. You have to learn how they behave and tweak them individually for every image to maximize the benefit they give. I own all of them and love using them.
