Canon 550 D

Hello

Im using Canon 550D for over a year, Im finding it more and more difiicult to appreciate the flatness/softness of the depth !

I don't know if its to do with the camera captor or to do with the lens or to do with my failing to adjust the right parameters to the px that i take

I have used Canon lenses 18-135 and 55-250 i had often the same feeling with those lenses

I m now trying Sigma 18-250 for pratical reasons and that feeling is either the same or worse.

Could someone tell me why does this happen, any technical suggestions you'd have for me to change my habit and improve this problem ? or lastly whcih would be the next better camera/captor after Canon 5505D ?

For exemple this pic was taken with the 18-250 sigma lens at 6.3 iso 400 and it is really soft the salad has no depth at all

this next one was taken with Canon lens 18-135 at iso 100 distance 28

thank your input/insight
