Should I buy a cheaper DSLR or use my EM5 for portraits

Hi guys,

I have a OMD EM5 with a 19mm Sigma F2.8 and the 150mm lens kit zoom.

My wife has just started a new job doing maternity photography. She will be using a speedlite and F stops of around 1.8 for bokeh. The company uses Canon... not sure on model.

I want her to practice her portrait photos at home and at functions.

Was thinking of just getting a 700D with a 50mm F1.8 and a speedlite flash.

I also would like a DSLR to have as a back up camera to my EM5.

Would I be wasting my time with a 700D?? Or should I just get her to practice on the EM5 with other lenses and a bigger flash.

I am sure the company will train her on the Canon and how to use it, so buying a Canon is not important... but would be an advantage I think.

Thanks in adavnce

Canon EOS 700D (EOS Rebel T5i / EOS Kiss X7i) Olympus OM-D E-M5
