Oly Zuiko 12-40 2.8 - Zoom noise normal?

Hi folks,

I've got my 12-40/2.8 today per post. The issue is: the box seems not to be originally closed, e.g. it was already opened very probably (user guide inside was opened and at the top, fingerprint on the lens etc.). Now may be I'm too nervous and study too much the lens, but it makes a bit noise when zooming - e.g. it's not like 'pffffff', but it includes a bit of 'ddddrrrrrrr', like if some mechanical/engine/motor was involved. It's not very loud but it's louder than my Canon 24-70/2.8L was. Is this normal? Should it move just like fine swiping or may it include this 'motor-like' sound? Hard to describe the sound, I know, but you know what I mean hopefully ;-).

Thx, Andrej
