Image quality is the best I've seen from any Canon Compact, none of the fuziness that pluages the s100/110/120 series either.
Thanks for this info, exactly the comparison I was looking for. I was just about the buy the S110, and came on the site for one last check. The S110 is on clearance now at many places, and relatively speaking, does not cost that much more than the 330. So, for full auto use, you think the 330 is better than the S110? Thanks
I don't know that the 330 is better than the S110 because I've never owned the S110. I had an S100 and its images were very nice, although I set it to my particular preferences in 'My Colors'. At low ISO it may be hard to distinguish the difference in IQ but I still think the S110 might have a bit more detail, definitely so as the ISO increases due to the larger sensor. I'd imagine you'd have to do a lot of pixel-peeping to tell a noticeable difference. I'm considering picking up an S110 only because the gearhead in me can't pass up the opportunity to get one at the ridiculously low prices I've been seeing. A couple of weeks ago I was pretty dead-set on getting either an S110 or G15 to supplement my EOS-M but, truth be told, after having gotten the 330 I feel much less of a need to do so. I like the full control that the S110 would give me but I like the fact that the 330 is even smaller, delivers excellent IQ, and has twice the reach, a key selling point for a compact walk-around camera. As I said, as a camera junkie I'm considering an S110 but a lot less after getting the 330. I don't really feel that I need it anymore.

Hi,
I noticed you have the sx280 as well. Which do you prefer for image quality the 330 or 280, in normal daylight and low light situations, and which do you prefer overall. Thanks.
Cheers
Steve.
