Fuji X and Adobe Camera Raw
1

If you have been using Lightroom or Photoshop to convert your X raw files here are a few tips:

1- ACR made some serious adjustments from version 7.3 to 7.4 that took care of the watercolor look  (smearing) in the greens. Version 8.3 is even better. Make sure you update either to Lightroom 5 or PS CS6. They both use the same version of ACR.

2- When converting, be sure to slide the Clarity to +30 (or any value of your choice). Watch your picture pop!

3- Then use unsharp mask. Try 1.0 pixel at 100% just as a nice starting point.

4- Using layers it is a very easy matter to sharpen some areas more than others - but that's another discussion. Other software sharpening packages can do this also.
