SEL1018 on A7 FullFrame vs. APS-C crop

What a gem this Sony 10-18/4 is turning out to be.  Having used it extensively on an NEX-5N and NEX-6, I was resigned to having to use it in cropped mode on my new A7.

Well, low and behold, the party trick that this lens has up its sleeve:

A7 + SEL1018.  Remember to use it without the lens hood however!

Lens at 10mm in APS-C cropped mode (aka Sony NEX)

Lens at 12mm in FF mode (aka Sony A7/A7R)

Slight disclaimer, I pushed it through LR 5.3RC with the following correction after playing with it for about 30 second eyeballing, so I'm sure someone can do better:

So compared to an NEX-5n/6 - not only do you get a wider field of view (12mm instead of 15mm), but you get more pixels (24mpx vs. 16mpx), better dynamic range, better high ISO... and well, I can't see much real downside.

Feel free to pixel peep and point out anything I've missed (smearing, colour cast, vignetting, distortion...etc).
