My GX7 has become my favorite all around camera. I am lucky enough to have several Lumix lenses which I bought for the GH3 but it would be helpful to have a few physically smaller lenses for street photography and some informal nature shots while hiking. The kit zoom is OK but not stellar so I have been using the Panny 25mm most of the time. I'd like to keep it to 3 lenses total so as to keep the weight and total volume of gear down. Oly 75mm? Any other suggestions?

Thanks for all the excellent suggestions! For now I am keeping the excellent 25mm Panny and have just ordered the 60mm Sigma (got a pretty good deal on Amazon - about $235+tax US) based upon your recommendations and almost universally excellent user reviews. If that doesn't live up to expectations I may take the plunge and get the Oly 75mm. Still leaves me short a wide angle choice... thinking about the 12 mm Oly but want to try out the Panny 12-32mm if and when it is ever unbundled from the GM1. Thanks again for the advice!
Our photography club had a talk last week on "street" photography. The speaker has a G3 camera and swears by his 14mm prime for street. He clearly got quite close to many of his subjects with success, though I must say I'd always thought "street" necessarily involves some distance, so I've never thought of it with a wide-angle. Always a 45mm.

His website is www.davemason.com

But at least you can check the 14mm composition with the kit zoom before you buy the lens, to see how it works for you.

I think the Sigma 19mm, 30mm and if you are into Macro the 60mm lenses are worth considering. Great lenses for the price point.

Two months ago I purchased the Oly 9-18mm for use with my G5, very happy with this lens. Add a 20mm or 25mm fast prime, and the 45-150 and you have a very wide range of coverage indeed.

If low light is important and cost no object, then the panny 35-100/2.8 instead of the 45-150

They are all good for stills as well as video; the 60mm is the star and I use it more than my 75mm. In the US, they have four year warranties. If you don't want all three, at least get the 60mm. I suspect that with that lens, you could probably save the money you would spend on the Oly 75mm. And, you might also not have to buy the 45mm - good, portable lens, but for many people the Sigma can take care of the 45-75 needs.

I agree with another poster who recommended the Pany 14mm; I use it a lot - also good for stills and video. However, I don't agree about the Pany 20mm recommendation. It has a good reputation because it was the only decent prime for m4/3 years ago, but now we've moved on. It's an old design that focuses slowly, and (both old and new versions) are over-priced. I sold mine almost two years ago; it had come with a GF1, which I kept a lot longer than the lenses I bought with it. It is very portable, though, so if you find a cheap one, it might be considered instead of the Sigma 19mm.

Note: I have all of the lenses discussed above and they are used on GH2/3 and EM-5 bodies. I also have the 9-18, 45-175, and 100-300 zooms, all of which I like. I shoot stills and video equally, although I prefer a DP2M for stills.
I have two Sigma lenses, 30&60, and both are great. I also use the Panasonic 20, fast focus on GX7 and so far it seems great (and it was on deal for $200 off, so a no brainer. I did not have luck with the Olympus 45, I had Two copies and they were just inconsistent and decentered and that led me to the Sigma's which I find to be better lenses.

Might also think of the Oly 9-18mm; I have it - very nice lens.
