I did a post like a year ago saying I plan to convert one of my NX into the Leica M mount.
Well at year later I finally ordered the M Mount flange from jieying-usa off ebay (I recall there was another person that had a flange switchout that I cant find anymore, its a shame being that one had a list of which lens works to infinity)
Well anyways I got the NX100, NX1000 and the NX20 as options to do the conversion. I am kinda moving towards the NX20 and the NX100 being both has a viewfinder option to at least keep it somewhat authentic.
What are everyone else's ideas?
I have a feeling the old 14.6 MP will do much better with Leica M wide angles and symmetric lenses. The old 14.6 MP had no color shifting with the Rokinon 8mm fisheye (designed for short flange cameras, not SLR lens) and super sharp corners with the 16mm f/2.4. The new 20 MP is a bit like the Sony 24mp in that the corners might not be quite as good with some lenses, I got very purple corners with the Rokinon 8mm on the 20 MP sensor (but at least there was no, or not much, smearing of detail).
