The DF is a sensor in drag.

I went to a trade show in Stockholm, Sweden today and had a play with the DF.

To be honest I was really disappointed, even if I wanted to like this camera.

I followed the whole teaser campaign and liked the idea of the D4 sensor in an simple, manual body. But unfortunately I don't like how it turned out. It felt cheap, hollow and clumsy in my hands.

My major issues:

*The controls felt fiddly.

*The body felt too light; hollow and plasticy.

*The silver one seems very easily scratched - the one on display had several ugly scratches and dents.

*Even for my rather small hands the grip felt to small in relation to overall body size.

*The D610 which was on display right beside it felt so much more like a serious tool worth a serious price. Paying double the amount to get the D4 sensor in camera body dressed in drag just wouldn't make sense to me.

Just my 2 cents.
