The 9000 is a great camera

Greetings

I still have mine from 1986 and I'm using it more and more.  It was the only camera made that had AF and manual wind.  As for the learning curve, ya you'll have to learn the camera and get a very good lab to process your film.  The 9000 gives excellent results as does the other Minolta cameras.  Ask yourself do you want manual or all auto?    1 person here said he had trouble winding and rewinding the film if this is problem for you go with a newer Minolta model.   Film is way better than digital that's why film sales are on the raise.

Good luck

Roger J
