I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend where Panasonic designs lenses that are crippled in some way when used on Olympus bodies. Not the end of the world since it's a kit lens and still AF's fine, just a niggling concern since I may buy a GM1 as a take-anywhere to compliment my E-M5.

I think it's in both manufacturer's interest to fully exploit the mFT advantage of being able to fully utilize lenses of both companies, finally breaking the head-lock of brand exclusive proprietary mounts in the DSLR world.
