My RX10 arrives tomorrow, and I can't sleep. 69 and still waiting for the presents under the Christmas tree. Pathetic...

Enrique, honestly, I thought you were a lot younger lol.

Even when you were a strict moderator:)

Quickest gun in the West! :)

Nothing wrong. You still get excited about things, it shows you are still young at heart. Let us know how you like it.

I will. I can compare it with the RX1, NEX 7 and 6 and with the RX100. I am mostly interested in low ISO performance. Tell me what you would like me to try. One problem is that these coming days will be very windy, cloudy and therefore with rapidly changing light conditions, which makes comparing nearly impossible. But I'll do my best.

I still get excited when new hardware is on the brown truck. I would worry more if I did not get excited. I am only a few years younger than you, so I am glad to see it never stops!

If it would only fit in a belt pouch.

I would have one coming too...

Should be a great camera!

UPS is the closest thing to Santa Claus, isn't it? :) I tell them when they come.

Barcelona?! Now we can see some good test samples for a change, no pressure Enrique:)

Yes I know the weather is unstable....

Well... how can I say it. I hate to disappoint you. I do not like it. It feels too plasticky, the zoom ring needs too many turns to go from one end to the other, and, f¡nally, I find pictures too soft for my liking. I had time to compare it only to my NEX 6 with its worst lens, the 16-50 pancake, and the RX10 is clearly softer. Same colors, less bite. So it doesn't make sense to me to compare it with the RX1 or the NEX 7. I expected an RX100 with a much better lens. Nope. So I will keep changing lenses...

Maybe defective lens? I can believe the less bite but soft I haven't seen so far...

Sorry to hear it!
