Good advice.  NEX's are great values now.

The 16-50 will not do this (already mentioned)

It's all relative.  Compared to the 1/1.7 sensored cameras he was looking at the 16-50 will do well.

4) Tilting or articulating screen.

The X-A1 does not have this.
