Hi,
I was looking for an inexpensive 50-200 mm lens for my Samsung NX1000.. Are you using this on your NX? would this work well? what about the auto focus is it working as well? good day
Riyaz
I'll let the OP answer that one but my impression is that it is indeed an old lens from the DSLR times where Samsung was rebadging Pentax DSLRs (K10 & K20).
If it is the case, this is a K-mount lens which can only be used on NX via an adapter (a Samsung adapter exists for these lenses). It allows to use Pentax K lenses without AF but with aperture control.
The lens is actually a Pentax lens rebadged as a Schneider lens for Samsung... a bit complicated but it's marketing... I think you'd be better of with a NX50-200 OIS...
is an old lens and it has a Pentax KAF, (IIRC), lens mount. I have thie exact same lens here. it was bought with the twin lens package of my Samsung GX10 camera. It is not a quality lens, just a basic kit lens, as you say rebadged for the GX10, and in fact manufactered by Pentax.
